1924 Prohibition Bookshelf
Gnarly Head Wine / Social Activation
Gnarly Head’s 1924 blend is inspired by Prohibition – a time that sparked American defiance. For the 85th anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition we created a bootlegger bookshelf that can hide 32 bottles of wine.
Agency: Evolution Bureau
Role: Sr. Art Director, Designer
We worked with local artist Zachary Warwas and designed the shelf from the ground up.
Next we created social posts using archival images from the Prohibition era, celebrating the American defiance it inspired.
Lastly we created a call-for-entries through a speakeasy microsite, and gave our bootleg bookshelf to one lucky follower.
